Trust the One Who Leads
Staying close to Jesus helps us grow
God’s Word for Me
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 NLT
Sometimes we do not know what will happen next. Plans may change, questions may not have answers, and new things can feel a little scary.
God sees what we cannot see. He knows the whole path, and He loves us. Trusting God does not mean that we understand everything. It means remembering that God is wise, good, and always with us.
When you feel unsure, you can tell God what is on your heart and ask Him to show you the next faithful step. You do not need to see the whole path to trust the One who leads you.
Let’s Wonder
Can you remember a time when you followed someone who knew the way, even though you did not?
What is something true about God that helps you trust Him?
Create and Remember
Draw a path with several large stepping-stones, or use the coloring page below.
On each stone, write or draw something true about God. You might begin with:
God is good.
God is wise.
God is with me.
God loves me.
At the end of the path, draw yourself taking the next step with God.
My Next Faithful Step
Choose one truth about God that you wrote or drew on your stepping-stone page.
When something feels uncertain this week, pause and say:
“I do not know what will happen, but I know God is __________.”
Then choose one small step you can take while trusting Him.
A Prayer I Can Pray
God, thank You for seeing the whole path. When I do not understand what comes next, help me remember that You are good and that I can trust You for my next step. Amen.
