God’s Word for Me

“For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)

Have you noticed how the world changes with each season? The air may feel cooler, leaves begin to change color, and daylight does not last quite as long. These changes remind us that a new season is beginning.

Our lives have seasons too. We may begin a new school year, learn something new, make a friend, or say goodbye to something familiar. Some changes feel exciting. Others can feel difficult or uncertain.

No matter what changes, God stays close. His love does not change, and He will be with you in every new season. You can tell Him what you are enjoying, what you are worried about, and what you hope will happen next.

Let’s Wonder

What changes do you notice outside as a new season begins?

Is there a change in your life that makes you feel excited, worried, or perhaps a little of both? How does it help to remember that God is with you?

My Next Faithful Step

Each day this week, look for one sign that the season is changing. You might notice cooler air, changing leaves, earlier sunsets, or something else.

When you notice it, pause and say:

“God, thank You for being with me in this season.”

A Prayer I Can Pray

God, thank You for being with me in every season. Help me welcome what is new and remember that Your love never changes. When change feels exciting or difficult, remind me that You are always close. Amen.
