Notice His Handiwork
Staying close to Jesus helps us grow
God’s Word for Me
“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.”
Psalm 19:1(NLT)
Have you ever stopped to watch the clouds, listen to a bird, or look closely at a colorful leaf? The world is filled with wonderful things to discover.
The Bible tells us that the sky shows God’s craftsmanship. That means God created the world with wisdom, imagination, and care. From the tallest mountain to the tiniest acorn, everything He made can teach us something about Him.
This week, slow down and look closely. When something in creation fills you with wonder, let it remind you of the wonderful God who made it.
Let’s Wonder
What is something God made that fills you with wonder?
If you could ask God one question about His creation, what would you ask?
Create and Remember
Choose something God made that you would like to look at closely—a leaf, flower, bird, cloud, acorn, or anything else that catches your attention.
Draw what you notice, or use the coloring page below. Be sure to include the tiny details that make it special.
Ask your grown-up to help you complete this sentence:
“God made ____________________, and it shows me that He is ____________________.”
Place your picture somewhere you will see it and remember how wonderful our Creator is.
My Next Faithful Step
Once each day this week, pause and notice one thing God made.
Look closely, then say:
“Thank You, God, for making ____________________.”
You can also tell someone what you noticed and what it taught you about God.
A Prayer I Can Pray
Creator God, thank You for the wonderful world You made. Help me slow down, look closely, and notice the ways Your creation shows me how powerful, creative, and loving You are. Amen.
